Ever since I was a little kid, I had an itching for photography and videography. I still remember the days of taking pictures along the railroad tracks in my hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania, or editing ski videos on iMovie on the nearby Pennsylvania Mountains. As a communications major, this itching never was a phase as it grew throughout my years of being a young adult. When I first started my college at Denison University, I wanted to take more of a tactical approach with communications toward the social media aspect of marketing. Along with my craving for photography and videography, I begin to post my work on Instagram, finding a love for the craft. With this love came the ability to tell a story from the point of my lens, not just mine but for companies who have used my work in the past and the future. Not only has photography and videography become a selling point for many businesses, but it has also become an essential way to build a social media following. With this aspect in mind, I decided to live in Iceland for a couple of months last summer to better figure out how to tell and shape this story of an image or a video. Upon returning from my travels, I figured out that the "it" factor produces a photographic story. With this new-found knowledge in mind, I worked for a local company back home (Dundore and Heister) in Reading, Pennsylvania, to help them create a story through their images. After working with this company for several months, I transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder to pursue Communication with a minor in Information Sciences. While being out in Colorado, I have continued my passion for catering to business in the area with Photography and videography needs. Along with a newfound aspect of Drone Videography/Photography, which I am currently pursuing to become FAA Part 107 certified. All three help me form that story in which can attract the masses!
